driveway sensor July 28, 2010 P Sensor detected movement every 5 seconds even though sensor window was taped with black tape.
Check for lower prices July 24, 2010 Anonymous (USA) This unit works reasonably well, but (1) the so-called "set of 2" is just one set of two pieces, transmitter and receiver, not two complete systems, and (2) the unit can be purchased from other sources at prices considerably lower than advertised here--shop around before spending nearly $40 on it.
Driveway Patrol Sensor July 20, 2010 Darrell N. Dawson This was a terrible expierence. First I ordered 2 sensor's and only got one. The range on it is so wide it picks up cars going down the street, the guy next door mowing his lawn, to say the least I was not happy and will never buy anything from this company again. Bought two, received 1 July 11, 2010 John M. Falk (Nuevo Mexico) The seller took a month to ship the product, and when it finally arrived, I received only one. These units work pretty well when used correctly, but the seller appears to be not reputable. I can see in the reviews that this problem has happened many times. I have left two reviews on the seller, but none was posted. I will be interested to see if this is posted!
Works BUT July 6, 2010 Sally Kiess (Tampa, Fl United States) The desription of the item is not complete--leaves lots to be imagined. I thought I was getting a set of two.. NOT True.
We put up the sensor and the receiver and it worked pretty good at first. The installation is simple. The one major issue we encountered is that there isn't any way to adjust sensitivity on the sensor. We started getting lots of false alarms. We now have the sensor pointing in a downward angle Limiting the coverage to a more limited area to reduce the false alarms.
Marginal value for the price.
