Non-functioning August 28, 2010 Lee Garland Veasey, Jr. (Durham, NC) Although the unit looked, at least externally, just like the one it was to replace, it would not correspond with my existing receiver, so I had to return it. A second sensor that I have had for several years does still work OK.
Driveway sensor July 15, 2010 K. Sweeten There is an annoying beep that sounds like the weak version of the alarm every half hour. Also the alert notification sound is lame compared to the previous model Does have better transmitter overall
Didn't Work June 28, 2010 marlowe Remote unit refused to communicate with base unit. I've had this system for some time and added several remotes. They all worked well before, but this one was useless...
Don't expect to hear this Chamberlain driveway monitor. June 12, 2010 R. OQuinn (Georgia) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I previously owned a Reporter DriveWay Monitor made by Chamberlain and it worked flawlessly for 5 years. When the wireless monitor remote started having problems I ordered a new driveway sensor. Lo and behold after receiving it I find the frequency has changed and the old model that I loved was now unavailable. I then bought a complete new Chamberlain WIreless Motion Detector system and installed it. It works and if you stand within 15 feet of it you will hear it beep. It has a volume control, but at it's highest it will not awaken the dog who sleeps near it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PIECE OF JUNK!
Chamberlain Wireless Motion Alert March 21, 2010 Danny K. Tilley (Fairfield, CA United States) Have bought these in the past. They are the only ones I have found that worked worth a darn. The newer ones seems to have overcome the "range" problem. I have one in my mailbox and one in the driveway.
